Revoking your consent to data processing

Right to complain to the competent supervisory authority
If there has been a breach of data protection legislation, the person affected may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent authority is the data protection officer of the German state in which the company is based. Right to data portability
You have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of data to another controller, this will be done only where technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries sent to us as the site operator, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection when the browser address changes from “http://” to “https://” and a lock symbol appears in your browser.
When SSL or TLS encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Revocation of promotional emails
We expressly prohibit the use of contact information published as part of our legal-notice obligations for sending unsolicited advertising and informational material. The site operator reserves the right to take legal action if unsolicited promotional material, such as spam email, is received.
3. Hosting and delivery of this website
Netlify
This website is hosted and delivered through Netlify, Inc., United States. When you access a page, Netlify and the infrastructure providers used by Netlify process technical request data so that the website can be delivered securely and reliably.
This data may include your IP address, the requested page or file, the date and time of the request, the referrer URL, and information about your browser and device. Processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable, and efficient provision of this website.
Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is based on the safeguards described by Netlify. Further information is available in Netlify’s Privacy Statement and data-protection information.
Server log files
Technical request data may be recorded in server and security logs. This information is used to deliver the website, maintain its security, investigate technical problems, and prevent misuse. It is not combined by us with advertising profiles.
4. Cookies, analytics, and external services
Cookies and similar technologies
The general pages of this website currently do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or comparable tracking technologies. For that reason, the website does not display a general cookie-consent banner.
If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies in the future, they will not be activated before any consent required under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG has been obtained. You will then also be able to withdraw your choice.
No analytics or advertising tracking
We currently do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads tracking, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Pinterest Tag, Taboola, Leadfeeder, Hotjar, or similar visitor-tracking services on this website.
Calendly appointment booking
When you select “Book a 30-minute call”, an appointment-booking page provided by Calendly, LLC, United States, is loaded in an embedded frame. Calendly is not loaded during an ordinary page visit; it is loaded only after you expressly open the booking function.
When Calendly is opened, technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, the referring page, and the requested booking page may be transmitted to Calendly. If you book an appointment, Calendly also processes the information you enter, such as your name, email address, selected time, and any additional information you provide.
The booking function is provided in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and on the basis of our legitimate interest in offering a convenient appointment-booking option under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Calendly manages consent for its optional cookies and similar technologies within the embedded booking page. Such optional technologies are based on consent under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TDDDG.
Calendly may process data in the United States. Further information about processing, retention, international transfers, and your cookie choices is available in Calendly’s Privacy Notice.
External links
This website contains ordinary links to external services, including LinkedIn and Instagram. These providers are not loaded merely because the links are displayed. Data is transmitted to the external provider only when you follow the relevant link. The privacy information of the respective provider then applies.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, telephone, or through an appointment booking, we process the information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.
We retain enquiry data only for as long as it is required to deal with the matter and meet applicable statutory retention obligations.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, the information you enter, the page from which you sent the enquiry, and available campaign parameters are transmitted to us through Netlify Forms. Netlify processes this information on our behalf so that the enquiry can be delivered, protected against spam, and made available to us for processing.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. The contact form does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
6. PPWR newsletter
If you sign up for PPWR updates, we use your email address to send you news, European Commission guidance, and PSL perspectives on packaging. The signup form records your email address, your consent and its wording version, and the page from which you signed up. Requests are collected through Netlify Forms, separately from contact enquiries.
You can withdraw your consent and stop receiving these updates at any time by emailing hello@wearepsl.com. The newsletter signup does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
