Packaging strategy built on 15 years of doing the work
PSL is led by Felix Gass. 15 years in packaging, including Procter & Gamble and cross-sector work with brands from food to cosmetics to retail and private label.
PSL exists because companies keep making the same packaging mistakes: reacting to regulation instead of anticipating it, treating packaging decisions as procurement tasks instead of strategic ones, and losing months to supplier conversations that should have been resolved with a clear brief.
The person who diagnoses your situation is the same person who builds the roadmap. No handoffs. No juniors learning your industry on your budget. PSL draws on a curated network of specialists when the engagement requires additional expertise, but the strategy is always led by someone who has done this work for

What PSL is not.
Not a design agency.
We work upstream of design. By the time a designer opens a file, the strategic decisions about materials, formats, and regulatory constraints should already be made.
Not compliance software.
There are good tools for tracking EPR registrations and managing packaging data. We recommend the right ones. We do not replace them.
Not a Big Four consultancy.
We do not send a team of junior analysts to learn your industry on your budget. PSL is built for depth, not scale.

PSL is a steering committee member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC). We contribute to EU packaging standards development and bring that regulatory intelligence directly into client work. When we advise on compliance, we know what is coming before it is published.
